Tiny tap room hidden in a back alley behind Main Street in downtown Wheaton. One of the smallest taprooms we’ve visited, with all brick walls, a bar with three stools, and a few tables.
Credit cards only. Four beers on tap.
BEER:
Kilty Plea Scottish Ale (3.50) – Fresh & malty flavor; hop bitterness not overwhelming; more drinkable than many Scottish ales.
Rye Jacked Rye IPA (5.00) – Rye malt an excellent adjunct to smooth out the IPA bitterness; medium body; bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
Pumpkin Pyro Porter (3.00) – Somewhat thin-bodied for a porter; smoked pumpkin not overpowering.
Stout Man Imperial Stout (3.75) – Smooth and malty; alcohol evident; nice, dry stout character.
FOOD:
No food served.
