A spacious and lively taproom housed in a former electric railway terminal. Combination of small and tall tables. A back-side patio offers lots of space and is dog-friendly. There were ten beers on tap when we visited.

BEER:

City Wit (4.50) – Golden, hazy appearance. Possibly a tad more body than the target for this style. Fruity and coriander aspects evident. Presence of passion fruit is surprising and welcome. Well constructed Witbier.

Country Casual Golden Ale (3.75) – Straw yellow ale. Bold and crisp flavor profile. Hop bitterness is noticeable, but properly balanced. Highly drinkable.

Double Just imperial Stout (5.00) – Big, black and opaque. Massive malty character defines this beer. Roasted character dominates, coffee notes in the background. 10.7% ABV not detectable. Drinking this beer is as smooth as silk.

Lounge Hours Sour Ale (5.00) – Hazy golden appearance. Light-bodied and refreshing. Tartness rules, but the presence of orange, tangerine, and mango provides outstanding balance.

Nov. ’93 Vanilla Porter (4.25) – Black, nearly opaque appearance. Vanilla essence evident in bouquet and first sip. Roasted malts are in abundance. Coffee notes detected throughout.
