Wonderfully convenient location right off the interchange for I-80/94. We were on our way to Notre Dame from Chicago, and this was a perfect halfway point. The brewpub has a modern, bright and comfortable feel, friendly staff, nice outdoor deck.

They offer fun events with live music, and creative activities such as Paint and Brew and Beach Glass Workshop. Check the website for details.

Ten beers on tap.

BEER:
Stosh.O Polish Pilsner (4.25) – Crisp and clean lager; touch of bitterness, hint of sweetness.
Nice Knowing You Belgian Wit (2.50) – High level of malt sweetness reminiscent of a Belgian golden ale.
Chupacabra Pomegranite Margarita Gose (4.25) – Excellent balance between tartness and sweetness; light and hugely drinkable.
Omega Black Imperial Stout (5.00) – Massive roasted character; smooth, yet bold; significant coffee flavor.
CHI.P.A American IPA (3.50) – Medium body, medium bitterness; well balanced American IPA.

FOOD:
The menu is created by Chef Brian Rance with the help of the entire kitchen team. They take great pride in using fresh ingredients and make everything in house, down to the ketchup.

They offer Small Plates (which aren’t actually small), Flatbreads, Sandwiches, and hearty Entrees. We tried the BLT (Nueske’s applewood smoked bacon, greens, pickled onion, charred tomato, smoked chili mayo) and the Hand Cannon Wrap (Grilled chicken, roasted garlic mayo, greens, grilled portobello relish, jack cheese, cherry bbq). Both were excellent.
