17 beers on tap. Below are a few that we sampled.
BEER:
1916 Blonde Ale (4.00) – Light, refreshing, crisp; innovative idea to use 100% pilsner malt in an ale recipe.
Half Wit (4.25) – Traditional witbier; lots of floral notes in bouquet, fruity flavors abound.
Angry Dragon American Pale Ale (3.50) – Standard pale ale; Citra hops a nice distinguishing touch.
Grapefruit 90 Feet From Heaven IPA (4.50) – Excellent competitive balance between hoppy bitterness and grapefruit.
Imperial Witbier (2.75) – High alcohol level incompatible with witbier character; big and bold flavor profile; witbier is supposed to be super light – 2.75
Rancorous III Spicy Sour (1.50) – Spices overwhelm flavor; sweet and sour dominate first taste, followed by big hit of cayenne pepper.
Stout Stache (4.00) – Medium body stout; roasted character dominates; excellent example of the style.
Sharp Wit (4.00) – Half Wit made sour; nice combination to add some unexpected flavor to witbier recipe.
Milk & Cookies Winter Stout (4.50) – Very smooth, despite 10.5% ABV; Excellent beer for relaxing and sipping.
Un-Authorized Dark Lager (4.25) – Beautifully balanced dark lager; roasted flavor dominates, as it should; tremendously smooth beer.
FOOD:
Full menu including Appetizers, Salads, Artisan Pizzas and Mains, most feature beer in the recipe. Vegetarian options available. We highly recommend the Ten-Ninety Burger: Two grass-fed hormone/antibiotic free beef patties, Rancorous III dijonnaise, sharp American cheese, house pickled cucumber, diced white onion.
