Massive taproom space with two distinct drinking areas. Kid friendly and dog friendly, and both were all over the taproom when we there. There is no shortage of fun stuff to do, as people were playing games of all types. There were 10 beers on tap, 1 cider, 1 seltzer, 1 sangria available on our visit.
BEER:
Chaos Monkey Hefeweizen (3.50) – Hazy, golden colored Hefeweizen. Clove and banana aspects prominent. Decent example of style.
Local Motive Kölsch (4.00) – Clear, golden appearance. Fresh, crisp flavor on first sip. Hop bitterness not at all intrusive, as expected. Highly drinkable.
Main Event Helles (4.00) – Straw yellow appearance. Malty sweetness comes to the forefront. Low level of hop bitterness, good balance overall. Very good example of style.
Peanut Butter Stout (4.00) – Dark amber appearance. Peanut butter is the dominant aspect of this beer. Roasted and caramel malts in evidence. Well put together stout.
Shuttlecock Lager (2.50) – Light straw yellow color. Very light-bodied lager. Slight hint of citrus. Almost no hop bitterness. Quintessential lawnmower beer.
