Sprawling venue that is a farm, brewery, restaurant, and market. They feature house-brewed beers, wines, cider, and an extensive food menu as well as a bakery. Wines are a collaborative effort with local wineries. There were six beers on tap when we visited. Sadly, they only offer full pours, so we were limited to just three beers during our visit.

BEER:

Czech Pale Lager (4.75) – Straw yellow appearance. Medium bodied lager. Bready character prominent. Hop bitterness a major player, but expertly balanced. No significant level of floral hops in bouquet.

North German Pilsner (5.00) – Straw yellow appearance. Crisp, medium-bodied lager. Solid dose of noble hops, which lingers into aftertaste. Balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness approaches perfection. As good as any pilsner produced in Germany.

Spelt Saison (5.00) – Pale straw appearance, somewhat hazy. Belgian lace evident. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel. Excellent balance with respect to hop bitterness. Fruity character in place, but not overpowering. Dry finish, slightly bitter aftertaste lingers. Yeast locally harvested from plum trees. Outstanding example of style.
