The place has a cool vibe; it’s located in the historic West Side Water Works campus of the Milwaukee Gas Light Company. Tours offered on Saturdays at 2, 4 and 6 pm.
Hours are: Mon-Thu 3PM-10 pm; Fri 12 pm-12 am; Sat 11 am-12 am; Sun 11 am-8 pm. Open early for all home baseball games, shuttles start two hours before first pitch.
Live entertainment on weekends. The large patio is a great place to hang out and listen to music on a warm summer evening.
Twelve beers on tap.
BEER:
Belgian Wit (4.25) – Light and citrusy; super light malt character; almost zero hop bitterness.
Vienna Lager (3.50) – Malt character a bit thin; nice balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness.
Coconut Porter (4.00) – Good roasted malt character; coconut is prominent, but not overpowering.
Coffee Stout (4.25) – Coffee aspect is significant, but not excessive; smooth and malty stout, low hop bitterness.
FOOD:
A nice selection of appetizers and sandwiches is available. Menu will be expanding in the future.
