Small, cozy space shared with Cascade Winery. The winery has been in business since 2003, but they began brewing beer in 2009. It’s nice to have the option of doing a wine tasting and beer sampling at the same time, to please the wine lovers in your party.
Friendly staff; casual, comfortable vibe. Open at Noon every day except Sunday.
Eight beers on tap, as well as five ciders and root beer.
BEER:
Rye Saison (4.00) – Medium-bodied Saison; fruity character just right; rye aspects ever so subtle.
Oktoberfest (1.00) – Massively bitter (57 IBU!!); beer is far too light, totally lacking in malty sweetness.
Black IPA (3.75) – Dark and roasted malts dominate; not hugely bitter; dry aftertaste.
Monkey Butter Peanut Butter Porter (4.00) – Peanut butter character comes through in bouquet and palate; balance is quite good; beer retains essential porter characteristics.
Russian Stout (4.50) – Huge, malty character; perfect beer to sample one sip at a time.
FOOD:
They have a few snacks available for purchase, such as a cheese plate. Complimentary popcorn is also available.
