One of four locations around the Chicago suburbs, this one is on Front Street in downtown Wheaton.

BEER:
Oktoberfest (4.50) – Bold, sweet, malty; medium body; hint of hop bitterness.
Helles Lager (4.75) – Crisp, refreshing Helles, outstanding balance of various malts; fair bitterness.

FOOD:
Large menu with a wide variety of options, from appetizers, small bites, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees.

Check out the Caprese Salad, which comes in a “mini” portion or as an entree: heirloom tomato, mozzarella, balsamic drizzle, basil and baby greens.

The ahi tuna Tavern Taco had a slightly fishy taste, so perhaps stick to steak or roasted vegetable fillings rather than fish.

The Buffalo Chicken Sliders are tasty, served with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, bleu cheese dressing, and your choice of side.
