Comfortable tap room in the East Austin entertainment district, serving coffee, street tacos and, of course, beer. Founded by Christian Cryder, a former pastor who moved to Austin from Montana to open the brewery/coffee shop. Nice patio; dog and kid friendly.

Prodigal Pils German Pilsner (4.00) – Clean and refreshing lager; hint of hop bitterness in the finish; highly drinkable
Proper Geordie English Mild (4.25) – Medium-bodied ale; not aggressively hopped; super silky smooth
Edelweiss Vienna Lager (3.50) – Sweet and malty, according to style; caramel malt character essential, could use even more
Theodorus Dunkles Lager (2.00) – Amber appearance; sweet and malty character, totally lacking roasty aspects necessary for a proper Dunkel
Bread of Life Doppelbock (4.00) – Big and malty bock beer; needs more roasted malt; alcohol kick not huge, but sadly noticeable
