Founders and Milwaukee natives Kevin Wright and Andy Gehl met at summer camp. After completing the University of California-Davis Master Brewing Program, Kevin spent seven years brewing at Hangar 24, a popular Redlands, CA brewery. Andy is an attorney, in charge of sales, marketing and community outreach. Prior to becoming an attorney, Andy led team-building and leadership programs for corporate and youth groups.
The taproom is very basic, located in a former factory not far from the Third Ward area of downtown Milwaukee. There is a dog-friendly beer garden with picnic tables next to the taproom.

BEER:
That’s Gold Golden Kõlsch (4.25) – Super refreshing German ale; hint of hop bitterness in the finish; hugely drinkable.
La Cocina Dark Mexican Lager (1.50) – Lacking in roasted malt character; overall a very thin beer; falls short of the standard set by Modelo Negra.
It Was All a Dream Juicy IPA (3.50) – Hoppy ale with strong notes of grapefruit; a bigger dose in the grain bill would improve this beer immensely.
Oktoberfest (1.00) – Way too thin for a serious Märzen beer; Lacks roasted character, malty sweetness and big, bold mouthfeel; back to the drawing board!
FOOD:
Food available for delivery from Sobelman’s Pub & Grill. Food trucks also visit on weekends. Check the website for details.
