Cozy, baseball-themed taproom located in the Historic Third Ward area of Milwaukee. The vision of lifelong friends Tim Pauly and Dan McElwee, Broken Bat Brewing Co. provides its patrons with sight lines to the brewhouse and fermentation tanks, as well as eight TVs showing daily sporting events. They distribute their beer at baseball stadiums such as Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Hours are: Tue-Thu 4-10pm, Fri 3-11pm, Sat Noon-11pm, Sun Noon-6pm.
12 beers on tap, but only a 7.5 barrel brewing system. They are expanding soon to a larger space with a 20 barrel system.

BEER:
Straight Chedd Apricot Pale Ale (4.25) – Hint of apricot makes a plain old pale ale much more interesting; slightly hoppy aftertaste, highly drinkable.
Flashin Leather Belgian Blonde (4.25) – Sweet and malty character prevails; super smooth.
Beach Ball Pineapple Milkshake IPA (3.75) – Hazy IPA displaying tart and sweet characteristics; very smooth, big pineapple flavor not at all overwhelming.
Ugly Finder New England IPA (4.50) – Big, malty, hazy beer; smooth, easy to drink; slight hop bitterness in the finish balances things off.
Golden Sombrero American Pilsner (3.50) – Classic lawnmower beer; refreshing, medium body, lightly hopped; slightly sweet aftertaste.
Corre Corre Mexican Lager with Lime (4.00) – Terrific balance between malt sweetness and lime tartness; super smooth, low hop bitterness.
Harry Cherry Tart Cherry Hefeweizen (4.25) – Cherry tartness a nice adjunct to hefeweizen profile; well balanced wheat beer.
755 Imperial Caramel Stout (4.75) – Massive roasted character dominates; hugely malty; chocolate aspects more evident than caramel.

FOOD:
No food at the current taproom, but once they expand, they plan to have a permanent food truck on site.
