Large taproom with a modern feel, located in downtown East Dundee near the Fox River. Their website describes the couple who owns it as “average kids from a blue collar neighborhood.” Their goal is to brew craft beer for the common man, including “lawnmower” beer or American Ale, as well as IPAs and bourbon barrel porter.

13 beers on tap.

BEER:
Das Kölsch (4.25) – Crisp, malty flavor, appropriately low hop bitterness, highly drinkable.

B-Shift Blonde Belgian Blonde Ale (4.50) – Highly complex flavor profile; sweetness and malt character nicely balanced; 7.1% ABV well concealed.

Minuteman New England IPA (3.50) – Substantial hop bitterness; medium maltiness; lacks citrus character.

Working Man’s Wit (4.00) – Clean and fruity taste; super light-bodied; very low hop bitterness.

Strap Dragger Munich Dunkel (3.25) – Needs a bigger dose of malt and roasted character in order to be a great Dunkel; drinkable dark lager, but not adventurous.

Nina Irish Dry Stout (nitro) (3.00) – Very thin for stout style; dry aftertaste evident; roasted character evident, but needs more.
