The brewery has one of the smallest footprints in Michigan, measuring only 340 square feet. The taproom is small, but cozy (55 seats), with a tiny outdoor patio. Open daily at 11am. Eighteen beers on tap.
BEER:
Gamboling Goat Coffee Stout (4.00) – Coffee character merges seamlessly into roasted malt flavors; big and bold.
Irie Session RyePA (3.75) – Nice pale ale with a hint of rye flavor; well balanced, not overly bitter.
Kona Brown Brown Coffee Ale (2.50) – Coffee character very prominent; malt character overwhelmed by coffee.
Noble Pursuit Pilsner (4.75) – Hits all of the notes for a Czech pilsner; hop bitterness lingers after first taste.
Old Way Sour Beer (4.50) – Hugely complex flavor profile; sour aspects evident in bouquet and flavor, but not overpowering; big and malty.
FOOD:
Great variety of appetizers, salads, wraps, sliders, sandwiches, tacos, and various macaroni bowls. We appreciated the normal-sized portions. So many restaurants these days serve gigantic meals that make it easy to overeat.
