Huge, garage-type taproom, live music, grassy patio area with games and a firepit.

They had six beers on tap. We tried four and were quite disappointed. Perhaps the brewer needs more time to practice his craft? We have visited other breweries soon after opening, and found that their beer improved on subsequent visits.

One of our pet peeves is the lack of a printed beer menu, or even complete descriptions up on the chalkboard. It is difficult to review beer when you don’t know what it’s supposed to be.

BEER
Lemon Zesty Time Pale Ale (1.75) – Super light bodied, zero hop character; cross between a pale ale and lemonade?
Emerald Swallow Tail Brett Pale Ale (1.25) – Poorly identified; is it a shandy, a sour ale, fruit juice?
Grand Budapest Spiced Brown Ale (1.50) – Thin body, lacks malty character; needs more oomph; spice presence not a bad idea, but cannot save a weak beer
Pipestone Robust Porter (2.50) – OK roasted character; far too thin for the style, lacks hearty mouthfeel of a true porter
