Good-sized brewpub, comfy atmosphere. Lots of outside seating available. A large number of guest beers on tap, as well as an extensive list of bottled beers. The food menu is full of variety.
BEER:
Berliner Weisse with Passion Fruit (4.00) – Golden, slightly hazy appearance. Very sour flavor, nearly inducing a pucker. Passion fruit character seems secondary, almost in the background. Very good example of style.
Boat Worker Robust Porter (4.50) – Very dark amber appearance. Big, malty sweetness dominates. Roasted character evident. A mouthful of bold flavors. Hop bitterness is very well balanced.
Pils Pils Pils (2.75) – Light bodied lager, golden appearance. Appears that noble hops typically found in lagers are missing here. The hops portion of the recipe is lacking. Almost thought this was a pale ale.
