The restaurant has a modern feel even though the décor is retro. The tables were spaced far enough apart where we didn’t feel cramped. The noise level was perfect for conversation. Enjoyable, mixed retro music.
Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers, making recommendations and bringing several samples before we made our decisions.
BEER:
Whippoorwill Belgian Style Wit - Fruity, coriander evident, perhaps too much body - 3.50
Sister Golden Ale Kolsch - A bit thin body for the style; bland, lacks adventure; more like a golden ale than a Kolsch - 3.50
Maltiplicity Maibock - Sweet, malty flavor, excellent example of style; decent hit of alcohol - 4.50
Dedication Belgian Dubbel - Sweet and malty, hard alcohol kick - 4.50
Summer Sahti Farmhouse Style Ale - Medium body, low bitterness, grapefruit overtones - 3.75
FOOD:
We tried simple menu items, such as a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap, Build Your Own Burger, Flatbread, and Caesar Salad. They have a good variety of options on the menu, and everything was delicious.
