Marzen

The Märzen/Oktoberfest style is characterized by its sweet and roasted malt flavor. Taking a healthy swig exposes the palate to the full richness of this extraordinary beer.

My favorite is Spaten Oktoberfest. There are, however, many good domestic examples, made by Church Street, Samuel Adams and The Lucky Monk. The beer is only available in a brief window in late summer and early fall, so do not miss out.
