Medium body, bitterness, appropriate for style; perfectly acceptable lager
West Bank Pale Ale -3.75
Hop character evident in bouquet and flavor; super drinkable
Masala Mama IPA -4.25
Nicely balanced IPA; bitterness not overpowering; why can’t all IPAs be this balanced?
Hope & King Scotch Ale -3.50
Sweet and malty, not too bitter; decent Scottish ale
Black H2O Oatmeal Stout -2.75
Beer is lacking in malt character and roasted flavor; a decent enough dark ale, but could be so much more
FOOD:
Full menu offered a large selection of appetizers, soups and salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees.
Food was decent; the walleye tacos could have had more fish and less pineapple-cilantro coleslaw, pico de gallo, and mango vinaigrette, all of which made them overly wet and sloppy to eat.
