Medium-sized taproom, with a dog-friendly patio area. Popcorn and snacks available. The brewery is committed to a community connection. Tips are donated to a local charity, which changes monthly. There were 11 beers on tap when we visited.
BEER:
Harvest Moon American Wheat Beer (4.00) – Golden colored, hazy appearance. Medium-bodied ale, wheat comes through nicely. Hop bitterness is proper balanced with the grain bill. Well constructed recipe.
König Kölsch (3.25) – Golden appearance. Medium-bodied German ale. Hoppy character probably excessive for this style. Not as crisp and refreshing as expected.
Out of Office American Stout (4.25) – Very dark amber appearance. Subtle coffee flavors evident. Nice roasted elements. Malty characteristics define this beer. Hop bitterness in the background, where it belongs.
Pie-Eyed Piper Fruited Gose (4.00) – Amber/orange appearance, slightly hazy. Light, refreshing, fruity. Citrus notes are delightful. Very low hop bitterness, as expected.
Vegas Daze New England IPA (3.75) – Hazy appearance. Medium body, nice and malty. Bitter character lingers throughout. Aromatic character not at all prominent.
