New Oberpfalz Brewing takes its name from a district in Bavaria called the Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate). The Oberpfalz is located in the northeast corner of Bavaria and comprises the frontier between Nürnberg, Germany and the German/Czech border. It is a rugged landscape, rich in brewing history, and home to many great beers.
New Oberpfalz brewed its first batch of beer in 2014. According to their website, their mission will always be to brew the best beer in the world. “We produce beer and food of unique and exceptional quality using the finest ingredients while applying science, sustainability, and craftsmanship to all we do.”
They are open Tue-Thu 3-10pm; Fri-Sat 11am-10pm; Sun 11am-7pm. Nine beers on tap, as well as guest drafts, cider, wine and soda.
